Manolis Venierakis (Athens, 1987) is an architect. He is a graduate of the School of Architectural Engineering at the Democritus University of Thrace, Greece (Distinction, 2013). He received his MSc degree from the Berlage Center for Advanced Studies in Architecture and Urban Design, in TU Delft, Netherlands with scholarships from the Berlage Center and NEON organization (2018). His professional and research interest lies in the field of public buildings, cultural institutions and the intersection of technology with urban space.

During his 9 years of professional experience, he has collaborated with architecture practices in Rotterdam, Copenhagen, Athens and London. He has participated in Greek and international architectural competitions for the design of public buildings, achieving various honours and awards for his work.
A highlight in his career was the experience of working on site in the project management of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre (SNFCC) in Athens, designed by Renzo Piano Building Workshop.

Manolis is a registered architect in the UK (ARB) and Greece (TEE). Since 2018 he is based in London, UK working as an architect (Grimshaw, Sheppard Robson), an architecture manager (Mace) and most recently as a design manager at the British Museum.
